Giro54 at Interaction South America ’09 São Paulo
30 November 2009The first Latin American regional conference on Interaction Design took place on November 26, 27 and 28 of 2009 in São Paulo, Brasil: Interaction | South America ’09. The event was organized by the Interaction Design Association (IxDA).
The conference aims to present and discuss research in the area of Interaction Design and create a sense of community for professionals by promoting the discipline in multiple areas of knowledge: design, computer science, architecture, highlighting its inter-disciplinary nature.
Our partner Gabriel Celemin presented a white paper called “Gestures: Pushing the Boundaries of Touch-based Interfaces” where he talks about how these interactions affect the design of digital applications and websites and the challenges to standardize and develop best practices and design patterns.
