A corporate website focused on its key audiences.
Tenaris, a leading supplier of steel tubes for the global oil and gas industry, set out toredesign its website with one goal in mind: bring the excellence and quality of their products and services to their online presence.
The goal of the new design is to communicate the company’s values and enable easy access to technical information and applications of Tenaris’ products.
Giro54 developed the Digital Strategy to relaunch the website working hand in hand with the Corporate Communications team. We were responsible for the Information Architecture,visual and editorial style guides, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and the design and production of many sections of the website and interactive pieces like infographics, videos and maps.
Content was organized with a new navigation scheme, considering the needs of the main audiences: clients, investors and job candidates.
All sections were redesigned to communicate the company’s commitment to quality, the environment, research and development and the community.
Cutting edge technologies were used to improve the user experience and clarity of multimedia content: Flash for infographics, HTML5 and JavaScript for dynamic content and videos, and Google Maps’ API integration for interactive maps.
Content and design work spanned several months to finally come together in Sitecore CMS, a content management system implemented by a US-based consultancy.
